CATHOLIC MEN’S FELLOWSHIP (ST. JOSEPH SOCIETY)
The Catholic Men’s Fellowship, a society made up of only men, with the exception of their wives, was instituted into the Ghana Catholic Mission. It was formed as far back as the GCM was born into the Düsseldorf-Cologne Ghanaian Catholic Church Community.
They started with a few dedicated catholic men who found themselves compactible within a certain level of the Ghanaian community. Their hobbies, readiness to help each other, drinking, eating and having fun together after every church service, mostly on Sundays had been a keen characteristic of the society and even up to date. They do this to keep very close friendship with each other and this has attracted many more men into the society.
